To earn the Enrollment Honors Plus Seal, students must first earn the Enrollment Honors Seal and then complete additional advanced requirements.
Students Must First Earn the Enrollment Honors Seal
This includes:
4 World Language credits
6 Social Studies credits
8 Mathematics credits, including:
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- Pre-Calculus or another advanced mathematics course
6 Science credits, including:
- Biology I
- Chemistry
- Physics or another advanced laboratory science
Grade of C or higher in all courses
Cumulative B average
Students Then Must Earn Additional Honors Plus Requirements
This includes:
Earning a College-Ready Credential
Examples may include:
• Indiana College Core
• Associate Degree
• Technical Certificate
• AP Scholar with Distinction
• Cambridge AICE Diploma
• IB Diploma
Completing Work-Based Learning
• Complete at least 75 hours of work-based learning experiences
These experiences may be paid, unpaid, on-site, simulated, internship-based, or career-connected.
Demonstrating Professional Skills
Students must demonstrate growth in:
• Communication
• Collaboration
• Work Ethic

In addition to the academic requirements above, students must complete ONE of the following:
Option 1
Earn 4 credits in AP, IB, or Cambridge courses and take the corresponding exams.
Option 2
Earn at least 6 college credits while in high school.
Option 3
Earn a score of:
- 1250 or higher on the SAT, OR
- 26 or higher on the ACT
Option 4
Complete TWO of the following:
• Earn at least 3 college credits
• Earn 2 AP credits and take the corresponding AP exams
• Earn 2 IB credits and take the corresponding IB exams
• Earn 2 Cambridge credits and take the corresponding exams

Students pursuing the Enrollment Honors Seal should generally plan to complete the following coursework:
English (8 Credits)
- English 9
- Communications Course
- Additional English courses through graduation
Mathematics (8 Credits)
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- Pre-Calculus or another advanced math course
Science (6 Credits)
- Biology I
- Chemistry
- Physics or another advanced laboratory science
Social Studies (6 Credits)
- U.S. History
- U.S. Government
- Additional social studies coursework
World Language (4 Credits)
- Four credits in the same world language
Physical Education & Health (2 Credits)
- Physical Education
- Health & Wellness
College & Career Preparation (1 Credit)
- Preparing for College and Careers
Personal Finance (1 Credit)
Computer Science (1 Credit)
Electives (5 Credits)
Plus The Following Additional Plus Seal Requirements:
- Earn an approved credential such as the Indiana College Core, Associate Degree, Technical Certificate, AP Scholar with Distinction, Cambridge AICE Diploma, or IB Diploma
- Complete 75 hours of work-based learning
- Demonstrate Communication, Collaboration, and Work Ethic skills

The Enrollment Honors Seal prepares students for college. The Enrollment Honors Plus Seal goes a step further by encouraging students to earn significant credentials, gain real-world experience, and demonstrate the skills needed to succeed in both college and future careers.
Students earning this seal leave high school with advanced academic accomplishments, practical experiences, and a strong foundation for success after graduation.
Think of the Honors Plus Seal as the "next level" of the Honors Seal. Students first earn the Honors Seal and then complete additional experiences that demonstrate exceptional readiness for their future goals.
