North Central High School

The Polytechnic Department helps students turn interests into opportunities. Through career-connected learning, real-world experiences, and courses tied directly to life after high school, students gain skills that matter now and in the future.

With nearly 20 teachers and professionals, the department reaches every North Central student through required courses like Personal Financial Responsibility, Computer Science, and Preparing for College and Careers, all aligned to Indiana’s new diploma requirements. Students also choose from a wide variety of electives that help them explore careers, build practical skills, and find what excites them. From the Modern Apprenticeship Program to courses in marketing and art history, the Polytechnic Department offers something for every student.
