Preparing for Enlistment and Service

The Service Honors Seal is designed for students who are passionate about making a difference in their communities and serving others. Through service-learning experiences, civic engagement, leadership opportunities, and community involvement, students develop the knowledge, character, and commitment needed to positively impact the lives of others and contribute to the greater good.

  • To earn the Enlistment & Service Honors Seal, students must complete the Indiana Diploma requirements and meet the following additional expectations:

    Career Readiness Requirements
    • Complete at least 2 Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses in a selected career pathway
    • Complete at least 75 hours of work based learning experiences
    • Earn a grade of C or higher in all courses
    • Maintain a cumulative B average
    Demonstrate Professional Skills
    • Students must demonstrate growth in:
      • Communication
      • Collaboration
      • Work Ethic
  • In addition to the academic requirements above, students must complete ONE of the following:

    Option 1
    Option 2
    Earn an approved Industry Certification aligned to a career pathway Earn at least 6 transcripted college credits in a career pathway through Dual Credit coursework
  • Students pursuing the Employment Honors Seal should generally plan to complete the following coursework:
